Just got one of these a few days ago. ran into every problem everyone else seemed to have.

I've ordered the Noctua fan replacement for the overheating, just waiting now.

However, in the meantime I've found some things that have lead me to unlock PredatorSense's ability to control CPU fan speed.

If you need to download PredatorSense again here's the link: https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Application/Predator Sense/Predator Sense_Acer_3.00.3048_20211019_W11x64_A.zip?acerid=637841207416616239&Step1=DESKTOP&Step2=PREDATOR&Step3=PREDATOR PO3-640&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

Here's the video showing where to find the config file needing modification and where it's at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFjd6Lh--tA

I had to give permissions to the config file (named "Feature") in order to save changes. Recommend saving a backup to your desktop before modding obv.

For my setup I am using "machine type 9" but I found that 6 or 7 unlocked CPU overclocking. Anyway, I'm using 9 and it basically gives you more lighting options and the ability to adjust fan speed.

My CPU fan was running at only 850 rpm but now she goes 3k to 6k if I want. I have mine set at around 3.5k rpm and for the time being CPU temps are down quite a bit at least at idle.

Hope this helps. Cheers.
