I am facing  wifi problems in my acer swift 3 ryzen 5. I wish to install the driver from the acer website and these are the two options that I get. My current network driver is Qualcomm Atheros, which often shows a code 10.

( Edited the title to add the model name )

What is the exact model name? Example SF315-52-81FV. Which Wireless Network Adapter is installed? Open the device manager, Wireless Network Adapter and tell us the exact name.

When I try to install this driver then it shows that the best version of the driver is already installed.

Should I uninstall the pre-existing drivers.( While uninstalling there is a box which with the instructions 'Delete the driver software for this device' what should I do

It's a try: You can uninstall the existing drivers and then install the new ones.

Well it didn't work(Same as before, wifi gets connected and after a few minutes it shows that no connections are available ). So is there anything else that I can try?

You can download and install iobit's Driver booster and see if it helps to solve the driver issue. Another possibility is to install the latest chipset driver for your machine (search in google, the chipset driver is not listed on the support site for your model) and then install the WLAN driver again. If you don't know what chipset is in your machine, take the tool HWInfo or CPU-Z to find out.

Go to Device Manager > Network Adapters, select WLAN Adapters, then the Power Management tab, uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" checkbox. Then, on the Advanced tab, uncheck all power saving options.

If nothing helps, contact Acer Support in your country. It could also be a hardware problem with the WLAN adapter.
