My laptop screen got some dead pixels so I would like to replace it, but I've been searching for the correct screen model for it, in some web pages says it have 40 pins and others 30, I don't want to check it by myself opening the laptop, I would like to know how many pins do it have? and the screen size, thank you

Model: A315-41G-R2AJ

Best is to take your old screen out as all screens have part numbers on them stuck on a sticker, then get the exact part number for your new screen, don't rely on just the laptop model number like yours the A315-41G-R2AJ as there are many different screens e.g in your A315-41 you have a Slim, eDP, FHD, TN or a Slim, eDP, HD, TN screens all these screen are 30pin screens, 15.6" WideScreen, FHD (1920x1080) these are all the Vendor/Model names for your laptop:

    Slim, eDP, FHD, TN

B156HTN03.8 - USD $74.99 (<<have a look at this link as this retailer has all the screens for your laptop)
    • N156HGA-EAB
    Slim, eDP, HD, TN
    • B156XTN07.1
    • NT156WHM-N42
    • NT156WHM-N32
    • N156BGA-EB2

Btw, lost pixels unless you have done the "
Test your screen for dead pixels now- DeadPixelTest.org" and is 100% verified that you have dead pixels? Is no reason to replace the screen as it could be the EDP cable or the cables data pins at the plugs being slightly damaged or not making contact at either the screen end or the mobo end so check all that out also and if you have an external monitor or even another laptop connect those monitors to see if its the actual screen? Good luick and hope this helps you out.

This is an explanation from deadpixeltest.com of what is a dead pixel, what is a stuck pixel?

Any modern screen, whether it is an LCD or an OLED screen is in fact composed of a large number of dots. Each of these dots can turn on or off and switch to different colors depending on the image that you computer wants to display. These dots are called pixels. No, we have made an extensive article on the topic, but here you should distinguish dead pixels from stuck pixels. A dead pixel is commonly a dot on your screen that remains black, whatever the image displayed is. Pixels can also be stuck on different colors.
