Anyone know if the current models of the XV272U V come with the Max Brightness option?

Hello, 

I've been reading about this monitor, and it seems pretty fantastic in terms of response time and contrast ratio for an IPS in its price range. I was planning on buying one, but have heard without the updated firmware the brightness isn't so great, and the screen can have a yellow tint. Since the V model doesn't have a USB port, it'd be hard to update firmware, wouldn't it? So I was wondering if anyone knew if the current models came with max Brightness option firmware update. If anyone could give me any info, it'd be appreciated.

Peak brightness still seems to be about 400nits. Average brightness 350nits. Not the brightest on the market but other factors seem to make up for it including its less than $400 price tag.
