Acer Aspire XC-605 display turns off

So whenever I'm playing any games and stuff on the desktop, the display randomly stops previewing, sometimes sounds still playing, sometimes not, can anyone help?

How you reseated or replaced the cable going to the monitor or changed ports ? 
Have you subbed the monitor or used a TV as the output. 
Does it follow any specific games
Also make sure that your drivers are up to date.

You can try to reinstall the display drivers to check if that makes any difference.



NOTE: Make sure to reboot the computer after uninstalling the driver to reinstall the driver back to the computer.

If that doesn't work then you can try to reset the computer to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.
