Dear Acer comunity,
my question refers to this model:

ACER Aspire A114-32
Serial Number: NXGVZEH003XXX
SNID:XXX

As I wrote in the title and as you can see in the picture, my screen is broken.
The notebook is still functioning well, which is why I would like to replace it.
The Acer support center suggested me to send it in for repair.
Does someone know approximately how long the repair would take and how expensive it will be?
Is it also possible to do it myself? If yes, where can I find spare parts and a good tutorial?

I am happy for any suggestions :)

Best
Louis

Make sure that you first take the old screen out and have a look at the exact Acer part and reference numbers for your ACER Aspire A114-32 OEM screen and only replace a new screen with the exact number, as just using your model number ACER Aspire A114-32 you will purchase a wrong screen that will not work as there are specific models for these laptops. You can replace the screen very easily but make sure that you FIRST disconnect the main battery as and if you disconnect the old screen and plug the new screen in while the main battery is connected,  you will damage your new screen and mobo.

The process to take the screen out is as follows. First pry open the surrounding screen bezel then unscrew the screen screws at the bottom and disconnect the screen plug, then the screen should fall out (or and if its stuck on with double sided tape, then pry away the screen to dislodge the old screen and reapply new tape) Its a simple job.

One of the best web screen retailers is at LS Laptop Screens that is only if you have the exact old part number for your laptop screen (as that is a must with all screen purchases) after that its eBay, as just putting in the model number will 70% of times be wrong and you will buy the wrong screen.
