Compatibility of SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe with Helios 300 PH315-52

Hi I have a predator PH315-52. I want to upgrade the SSD. Can I use 

SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe ?

    Yes you can, but you are wasting money by paying a PCIe 4.0 NVMe price to get the PCIe 3.0 performance. I'll suggest just to get something like SS 980, SS 970 EVO Plus or WD SN 750. These are gen 3 drives that will match your PH315-52 well.
