Aspire E5 575G planning to replace Thermal pad, Please share your suggestions

Hello to everyone and greetings from Bulgaria. Guys I have a question as you can see. So, my laptop is Aspire E5 575G with i5 6200u and 940mx. After changing the thermal paste several times without changing the thermal pad on the CPU(i know thats a mistake) i think it's time to replace and the pad. Can someone tells me what should be the size of the thermal pad, and can i remove it and use a thermal paste instead.

Yes, no pad. Only paste is actually preferred. Pastes usually have better thermal conductivity than pads. I only use a good quality paste like Kryonaut or ArcticMX4. Sometimes even electrician's putty is better than pads.
