Sometimes when I have predator sense open, a small or a bit bigger lag occurs. I've been reading that predator sense causes these lags, Is that true?

Yes, very true!   i used to always keep it open and it constantly caused lagging and momentary freezing in game.   Keep it closed unless you need to adust something and it will stop!

Or not stop, as the case may be. :)

    Hi @Nexed_

You can try to reinstall the predator sense application to check with it. If that doesn't work then you can try to reset the BIOS to check if that makes any difference.

How do I reset my BIOS/UEFI to default settings?

    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system.
    3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.

If that also doesn't work then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.

There are lots of apps that can monitor temperatures for you that aren't as big of resource hogs. I use Core Temp and it doesn't have any of the artifacts that PS causes.

I notice that when PS is opened, the usage of the processor and the Power Usage is HIGH.

Not great, so after changing anything I just close it. And use the Core temp to monitor the temperature.

One thing that's strange for me, is that this laptop runs hot for normal use. Like Webpage and Excel is normally around 80C, while my G14 is around 55C and no noise.

Anyway, getting used to those high temperatures.
