So I bought an acer chromebook 315 back in feb 2022 and recently I got the message chrome os is missing or damaged..... I tried all the control keys to reboot and nothing so....I had to get the chrome recovery utility...finally it worked it booted up nit a problem.....so I thought. 30 mins into rebooting system my chromebook starts shutting down, power it back in have to reboot system again, shuts down powers up and goes to the sign in menu. It goes through next thing I know shuts down again and missing or damaged come up again well I insert usb to redo this again and chromebook shuts down again powers up and goes right to sign in.....lo g story short it keeps happening I  the same pattern and I'm so frustrated I'm not sure what to do her. Anyone have any ideas to what is going on. This chromebook has never just shut down automatically so many times and I have not had a problem out of this chromebook since buying it.

It would help a lot to know what machine you have, there are lots and lots of "315" models. It sounds as if your system has a failing drive. You should be in warranty so I'd just go ahead and contact Acer support for a warranty repair. If the model you have uses an eMMC drive soldered to the motherboard the fix will be to replace the MB. If yours has an M.2 SSD then they will likely just need to replace the drive and re-image with the OS.
