SB220Q Vertical adjustment not sufficient - How do I fix?

Just bought a SB220Q monitor to use as a second screen. Simple enough to plug and play. Only problem is that the vertical balance on it is not sufficient and is cutting off half of the task bar on the bottom while leaving a thin black stripe along the top, despite being at 100 on the vertical adjustment (which won't go any higher). I have already installed the proper driver for the monitor and rebooted by PC. Thoughts?

Disregard. Switching to an HDMI cable from VGA appears to have fixed this.
