2018 Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-55G9 won’t turn on

Was using my laptop fine at work, left and came home and tried to turn it on, it doesn’t do anything when I press the power button. No fans, lights or anything. The battery charging light still comes on when it is plugged in.

Yes unfortunately these laptops with internal batteries do that and unfortunately this could be a sign of internal circuitries problems or a frozen Super IO or bios? The that a consumer can do is to reset the laptop by opening the back and disconnecting the main battery and the bios battery and then leave these two batteries disconnected for about 5 min, then reconnect and fire the laptop up, see if it boots? If not then you have a primary power circuitry issue(s) in the 19V sections (have a look at and around the charging port and see if any components are burnet or discolored in any way) as that is a sign of this sort of a problem inside your laptop as its components like its mosats, capacitors or fuses could have burned out and has disabled your laptop from powering on. If this is whats happened? Then you need to take your laptop to an experienced technician (that fixes components and not just replaces parts, as this problem needs specialist fixing otherwise you need to replace the motherboard) and a tech that can analyzing the exact problems and has all the micro soldering tools, microscope etc to do this job, as a consumer like you can't fix these problems.
