The various CB3-532 models do tend to be at the lower end of the performance spectrum, since they were targeted at the lowest cost for Chromebooks of the time. With DDR3L memory running at 1600MHz and the low end Celeron processors there's not a huge performance range available. With Chromebooks, however, the biggest factor is the WiFi. Yours supports 802.11ac so should get decent throughput in an ac environment. Is there a chance your WiFi service is slower than that?

if by "so slow" the commenter is referring to web browsing; going into the settings for the overall laptop's web or browser settings might improve performance.  I tend to think people are fooled into thinking performance is all about whatever speed a user is using.  I often times find myself more satisfied doing internet activity on or though my phone's data connection than certain previous laptops I've owned over the years. Think of web/internet no different than the music you listen to.  If you have controls available; it doesn't hurt to not just adjust volume (internet speed/modem) but treble; bass and balance.
