What is your full AN5 model number? For example AN515-54. If you're trying to us a passive HDMI-to-VGA form factor adapter, most HDMI ports only support HDMI video signal output, not  VGA signal output. So a passive adapter won't work. You'd need an active HDMI-to-VGA signal converter for that type of port.

Yes a passive HDMI-to-DVI adapter should work but  probably not a passive HDMI-to-VGA adapter.

Please let us know if the video output is OK with the passive DVI adapter.
