This seems like a problem with your PC's video screen mode output not automatically changing. Not a problem with the monitor. So as a work around you should continue to change wide mode setting in monitor's OSD.

No. 640x480 is 1.33 aspect ratio. Are you trying to use an old PC? What is this PC?

Full screen aspect ratio is 1.33 for 640x480. 1.1 aspect ratio will be distorted.

Change that 640x480 to something high enough for the monitor to display. Maybe 1366x768?

Sorry, as mentioned earlier, this is likely the PC's problem, not the monitor's if you want to keep high valorant FPS. You probably should be looking for a newer PC with graphics that are powerful enough to drive the monitor at higher resolutions and frame rates it was designed for.

It means that if you want to set the resolution to 1366x768, the aspect ratio should 1.78 for a full screen without distortion. Any other aspect ratio  may distort the images for full screen. This monitor probably works best with your old PC at 1280x720 resolution with a 1.78 aspect ratio for full screen. The FPS will probably be less than 640x480 but the images should be sharper and less distorted for full screen mode..

1366x768 is close to the same aspect ration as 1920x1080 FHD. That's a very common resolution.
