I changed in Bios(F2) Media Keys to Functional Keys.

Q1)  how to get it fast to the beginning/end of the document?
            On other laptops, Ctrl+Home/end would do,
                but on  Swift 3 SF314-42?

Q2)  Not sure how the "Scroll Lock" on SF314-42 ?

Q3)  F12 (NumLK key) : how does it work? I do not see the difference?

Q4) The "Ctrl" key on the right , and  the "Alt Gr" next to its left: how are their functions?

Thanks.

    Look at the cursor keys, typically the Pg Up and PG Dn keys have an additional entry for Home and End. If yours does too then Ctrl-Fn-Pg Up takes you to the top of a document and Ctrl-Fn-Pg Dn takes you to the bottom.
    I can't help with Scroll Lock, I never use that function.
    Fn-NumLk converts the 7890, uiop, jkl; and m,./ keys into a numeric keypad, Fn-NumLk again reverts back to normal.
    Alt Gr acts like a normal Alt key on US keyboards, on international or locale specific keyboards it allows typing the third and fourth entries on a key. On my keyboard there is a Euro symbol on the '5' key, in addition to the '%'. If I were using the US/Intl keymap I could use AltGr-5 to type a Euro symbol. Since I am using the standard US keymap instead, AltGr-5 just acts as a normal Alt-5.

     I am able to use alt + num pad to type in unicode  into Word:
        $  36  ; ¢ 0162; ¥ 0165 ; € 0128;  £ 0163; ¥  157

    but why unable to do that in Notepad?

    Yes, that is supposed to work anywhere, but in actuality support can be spotty. You are typing the octal number for the mapped key. The AltGr-x option is separate from the Alt-Num thing and it is dependent on the keymap, so matches the layout of each keyboard locale. My example for the Euro key is in the US-INTL keymap and allows typing that symbol with only AltGr-5 instead of Alt-0163. With the standard US keymap AtlGr-5 doesn't type anything.

    Actually, Win 11 Notepad inputs Currency symbols differently from Word.
    1)  In Notepad, type in the Unicode Code Numbers first, then Alt+x to covert it to
       symbols
    2)  Word does it with the ALT Code
    SymbolALT CodeUnicode Code Point
    $ALT 36 or ALT 0036   U+0024
    ¢ALT 155 or ALT 0162   U+00A2
    £ALT 156 or ALT 0163   U+00A3
    €
    ALT 0128 or ALT 8364   U+20AC
    ==============================================
    E.g. Notepad :   0024 and press Alt+X    =>  $
                             20ac and press Alt+X    =>  €

    Neat! I didn't realize they added that trick into Notepad.

    I added a USB HP full keyboard from garage sale. Soon I'll know more about scroll lock.

    BTY, please let me know if you could help on:
     1) unlocking microsoft VBA Normal.dotm that was  copied from Office 2016 to 2021.
     2) rid of OneDrive from Acer notebook.
