AN517-51-51N1 Where is the "Restore on AC/Power Loss" on InsydeH20 Rev 5.0?

Where is the "Restore on AC/Power Loss" on

InsydeH20 Rev 5.0? I've accessed the

advanced settings on my ‘Nitro 5’ by:

1. Shutting down laptop
2. whilst shutdown entering the following sequence (F4, 4, R, F, V, F5, 5, T, G, B, F6, 6, Y, H, N)
3. Turning the laptop back on and entering Bios
4. repeating steps 1-3
5. You now have the advanced bios settings.

But alas, I cannot find "Restore on AC/Power Loss" anywhere in the InsydeH20 Rev 5.0 BIOS.

If anyone knows the location or solution to this, it would be highly appreciated!!

What's your full AN5 model number? If the option's available in the firmware , it should be under power mgt  or acpi without entering any sequences. Press Ctrl+S for any hidden options within each BIOS tab.

Hi! These advanced options are hidden, so the user doesn't turn the computer into a brick. This violates the forum rules. This feature allows the computer to automatically turn on as soon as the user plugs the power adapter into an electrical outlet. I would not enable this feature, because if there is a failure in the power network, it can damage the motherboard.

Thanks for your response. I highly regard your advice and as such would never go through with making these adjustments without the proper assistance of someone with specific subject knowledge. It was merely querying the whereabouts to the location of the particular function, in order to follow up with a professional as to whether using that function would be appropriate for my situation.

As for the breach in forum ruling, having reread the agreements, I can now see that this was a misstep on my part. This clearly goes against Member Contributions: Section 13 and therefore will follow up on this no further.

No, simply trying to learn more about my system is all and trying to solve a problem with it. That is what this community is all about. Your response however neither helps, nor is it constructive. Perhaps you’re just trying to get attention maybe?

Anyway, I appreciate the assistance from Edgydiocoelho and JackE. They both assisted in a truly constructive way. Batmalin, you might want to learn a thing or two from them. 

As said before, I’ll leave it at that and not follow up on the matter any further.
