I'm having audio issues on my Aspire A315-42, can anyone help out?

Everytime i play any game or watch a video, my audio starts crackling and popping, restarting fixes it for about 20min and then it comes back.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the realtek drivers, which didn't work, but rolling back the realtek audio driver did work but now i cannot use the realtek audio manager, which i need to be able to use my mic.
If anyone has any suggestions please tell me.

Have you tried uninstalling the old console driver first? It may be corrupted.

I have tried it, it works fine, the problem is with the realtek audio driver.
The realtek audio manager stops working as soon as i roll back the driver.

With the rollback driver installed, right click speaker icon in tray. Click open sound settings. Please post a screenshot of the Input device drop down box.

This is the only option that appears:

Your microphone seems to be working and is being used. Why do you say that you're not able to use the microphone without the Realtek Control Panel (audio manager)?

I cannot use the headset mic, only the camera's mic.

Use this tutorial (search for Realtek 21h2 and Realtek 21h2 media instead of 1903) to update to 6.0.9357.1 (the 11.6 MB file, not the smaller 11.1 MB file). Then run the Microsoft Store to download the latest Realtek Audio Console.

If that doesn't work, then it is not a driver problem.

You have a laptop, unplug the power cord and move to a different location away from RF interference (i.e. move away from the wifi router) and see if you still have any problems.

Realtek Audio Console can't be downloaded in microsoft store anymore.

You have to install your laptop's specific driver first, then run Microsoft Store to download the Realtek Audio Console app.

Then go to Microsoft Update Catalog to download the various cab files and update your realtek audio driver and realtek software components using my tutorial, then run Microsoft Store to download the Realtek Audio Console update. I forgot to give you the tutorial link (read the second post for Microsoft Update Catalog update).

If you got your realtek driver updated to 6.0.9357.1 and your realtek audio console app updated to something like 1.35.269.0 (I forgot the exact version number) and you still hear statics, then it's not a driver issue.

Then take your laptop, unplug the power cord and take it far away from RF interference (i.e. wifi routers, bluetooth devices, fluorescent light...).

RF interference from wifi or flurosecent light (see the white plastic box on the left side right next to the speaker, that's the wifi router).

I am running this version right now but it's not available to Acer computers yet.

Aye! Open Control Panel. Search 'sound'. Click 'change sound card settings' in left pane. Click 'recording' tab. Please post screenshot with headset plugged in.
