i have a working predator15 g9 593
i just lost my charger and i seek for a 230w 19.5v 11.8a adoptor with the correct 7.4mmx5.0mm head at local computer store
finally, i found the charger "adp-230eb t" from Delta Electionicsthat fulfill the requirement and i bought it
but after i brought it home, its not working
1. the green led on the charger block is turned on
2. the battery charging light is not on, not red nor orange
3. i tried to press the "battery button" under the laptop for 5s, it doesn't help
4. some sellers on amazon and alibaba stated that adp-230eb t is compatible with A230A006L, so why its not working?

what can i do at this point? is there a way to make this charger work for my laptop? or i had to return it and buy the chicony A230A006L?
unfortunately i dont have a multimeter and i cant test if its a cord/plug problem or charger problem. so i have to ask if its compatible to my laptop or not.

Sounds like the charger plug or dc cable is defective. Probably a lemon, But sorry, without a $10 multimeter you really can't check its output. Google search the charger part no for vendors who ship to your location. Order a multimeter while you're at too. They come in handy and save money in the long run.

yeah, but i mean am i correct that the charger "adp-230eb t" supposed to be compatible with g9 593?
if so, it should be an easy fix for just a cable/plug issue.

Maybe. But it's not listed on the G9-793 specsheet. The only one listed is the KP.23000H.001 Chicony A230A006L adapter.

Without a multimeter to check the plug open circuit DC voltage output, all I can do is guess. And all I can guess right now is that you got a faulty adapter.

I suggest that you return it and buy the correct Chicony A230A006L adapter if possible. Part no. KP.23000H.001

Have a look if the new chargers safety switch is not tripped as if it is it will not work and give your laptop any lights! Unplug the charger and disconnect it from the laptop and mains power, leave it disconnected from the mains power for 15 seconds, then connect the charger into the mains but not into the laptop.

You need a multimeter to make sure that the charger is working and see if the chargers output is 19.5V by putting the positive meters prong into the middle of the plug and the negative prong on the outside of the plug which should give you a reading of 19.5V (f you don't have one then look at this guide "How to Test A Laptop Charger Without Multimeter" if the charger doesn't output 19.5V or the none multimeter method does not work, then the charger is faulty but if its outputting 19.5V or any output for the bulb to come on, then the charger is 100% working its a problem with your laptops either side DC port plug or an internal issues that are shortening the charger out, as all laptop chargers have a safety switch that turn the charger off in case of any major  shortages to protect the laptop from any damage and it seems like your laptops problems are not the charger.

    btw, i am wonder does "SKU KP.2300H.004" compatible with g9 593?( https://store.acer.com/zh-hk/ac-adapter-230w )
as it provides the same watt and volt, it said its compatible with "Predator Triton 300, Predator Helios 300, Concept D5" and did not mention about g9 593
