aspire e14 laptop with a dead battery but still not remove it How to fix this?

Hello, i had a acer aspire e14 laptop with a dead battery but still not remove it, i used it always with the charger, i tried to change the thermal paste because of heat issue, before change thermal paste, the laptop can be turn on without any issue, after remove the battery, the back cover and all, changed the thermal paste, plug in the charger back, the laptop wont turn on. The only thing i plug out from the main board was the fan, speaker and heat sink. When plug in the charger, the battery light is on, but when press the power button, nothing happens. How to solve this problem because the laptop have everything related to my studies. The thermal paste i used was Cooler Master Mastergel Regular V2 Thermal Paste

Which model E14 do you have, give us the exact model number? If the battery is dead then you need to replace the battery with a news one, as that is an issue of your laptop not powering on, also try to take the bios battery out and reconnect the battery and try to fire the laptop up and see? As taking out from the main board the fan, speaker and heat sink should not make your E14 not boot and/or power on or work, you must have done something else or not connected other parts for this laptop not to work, look at the DC side port and cable and its connection to the mobo. If resetting the bios and getting a new battery doesn't work then you have other internal circuitry power issues that need to be analyzed by experienced technician, so take your laptop to one if you want to spend money on this laptop?

Which model E14 do you have, give us the exact model number? Hi Steven, my laptop model is Acer Aspire E 14 E5-471G-59U6. I think the dc port is working fine because the battery light is constantly turn orange when the charger plug in but sometimes its blink. Is it possible it wont turn on because of the dead battery? Because before changing the thermal paste it work just fine with the same battery but need to use the charger. I think I will try replace the battery and see what happen. Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate it.
