I've been having trouble getting my laptop to turn on.
When opened on battery power, the blue indicator light flashes blue for about a second before going dark again. The screen does not light up at all. When plugged in, the blue light activates, followed by the orange light. The blue light then turns off about a second later and then the orange turns off after about two seconds.
I couldn't find anything that sounded similar to this online or in this forum so I thought I'd ask here
(Let me know if any additional information is needed.

Take the battery out and the RTC bios battery out and reconnect them 5 min later, see if that refires your laptop (be patient and wait 1 min as the laptop has to reset its bios) which should reboot your laptop, If not then check the battery if its not faulty or its taking charge? Also check the charger if its charging the battery and its not faulty or if its not being triggered off by a shortage within your laptop or faulty DC side port? As chargers have a safety fuse that turns the charger off if there is any shortages in the charging/power phase. Also check the state of your side DC post and if its middle pin and side prongs are not damaged in any way and its making full contact with the charger plug. Otherwise its an internal laptop circuitry problem that needs analyzing by a technician.

I tried unplugging and plug ing the batteries, but it hasnt seemed to have changed anything. Everything inside the chassis looked intact. I think it's probably just a circuitry problem as it might have gotten wet in my bag at some point ( didn't see any water inside though. ) I'll probably take it to a computer store soon. Thanks for the suggestions though!
