My acer predator turns off when playing when I use it with battery predator helios 300 PH315-53 ,

My acer predator when opening a game with the battery, that is, without the charger. the laptop turns off completely as if all the battery were gone in one, this happened to someone and what solutions would you give me please

Hi @Leonardolb25

You can try to reinstall the battery drivers in the device manager to check if that makes any difference.



NOTE: Make sure to reboot the laptop after uninstalling the driver.

If in case it doesn't work then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Check the above link to do a reset.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

Just as an addition to the above suggestion, check the battery specs with an altimeter, also you can do a battery report:

• Go to cmd prompt > as administrator and type in > powercfg /batteryreport (To see report type into SEARCH: battery-report.html.)

See the state of your batteries report and charge and if its charging properly? As and if your laptop tuns off on battery only then 9 out of 10 times its the battery that needs replacing or your charger is not charging the battery properly which could be the chargers fault or a DC port/cord or plug that connects to the mobo fault or an internal issue that needs diagnosing by an experienced technician.

acer predator helios 300 PH315-53 , 

I just realized  that when I play a game it doesn't turn off straight away but it lasts 1 minute or something like that in the game and it turns off, I saw the percentage of the battery and it goes down like 1% every second something like that

Can you check battery wear with hwinfo64 program?
