acer swift 1 SF114-32 showing NO BOOTABLE DEVICE

acer swift 1; SF114-32 series

i was using ms word when it showed 'hibernating' then shut off seconds later. tried switching off then on and showed blue screen. tried solutions from google and such and got black screen now... tried resetting battery from pinhole and now shows 'no bootable device'

what should i do now?

    Hi @ray29

    You can try to reset the BIOS to check if that makes any difference.

    How do I reset my BIOS/UEFI to default settings?
    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system keep on tapping F2 button continuously to get into the BIOS.
    3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.
    If in case this doesn't work then you have to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

    Check the above link to do a reset.

    NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.
