Can my motherboard control Corsair RAM RGB? Predator 5000 po5-640

Looking for some help! I’ve recently bought the Acer Predator 5000 po5-640 but it only came with 16gb of ram and tbh it was the worst looking ram I’ve ever seen. I swapped it out for 32gb Corsair Dominator RGB which looks a lot nicer but I can not control the RGB lighting as Icue doesn’t detect it through the motherboard. I have tried everything but still quite new to pc gaming. Corsair believe it’s an issue with the Acer Motherboard as my Corsair keyboard works fine. Please help it’s driving me crazy :)

Well that’s really disappointing, spent 2 grand on this unit and it can’t perform a simple function. So I’m stuck with my RAM glowing continuously even when shut down or fit the horrid looking ram back in that was supplied with it. Brilliant way to ruin what I thought was a good product.

Pretty sure you need to use the Corsair iCUE software to control any of their RGB.  Its a free download off their site  https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/downloads

EDIT:  sorry I didn't see you had already tried that, my bad.
