If the hidden factory reset partition is gone and the machine was originally sold in the US or Canada, you can often purchase the factory installation USB stick or DVD from the Acer store for $40-50. Usually not available for downloading.

Inside the computer hard drive there is a place called recovery partition.   It will act like a recovery media.

If you are able to load the windows -  If you are  able to login to computer and if you are able to see the  regular desktop icons.

    On the desktop icons screen
    Try windows + c
    click on settings
    click on change pc settings
    update and recovery
    recovery
You can always do a refresh and reset  - click on get started

Kindly follow the details from the link

That system is old enough there is little likelihood that Acer will still have the recovery media in the store, they usually stop stocking them after a few years. Just do an install of the base Windows from Microsoft's site and install all drivers needed from the Acer support for the model.
