I have an Aspire 3 laptop and am seeing this message at bootup "The upgrade process has been suspended. Please make sure the system meet both conditions below. Plug in AC adaptor. Battery capacity is more than 25%." The battery was fully charged at the time and I tried unplugging then plugging back in the AC. Please help - I need to retrieve the files!

If not then you might have to undo the back 11 screws that hold the back cover on and carefully pry up the base cover starting from the bottom side to release the latches, then disconnect both the main battery and the little RTC battery that's under the left side of the main battery, and leave them disconnect for 5 min and then reconnect both batteries back and fire the laptop up as that should reset everything and your laptop should power onto the operating system. If all this does not work then you have internal; circuitries chip shortening out and/or some chips are burned out and you need to take your laptop to an experienced technician so that he can diagnose the problem and fix it with proper tools and diagnostic equipment.
This is a guide for where the Aspire 3 315-57G model main battery and RTC batteries positions are and their connectors

Thank you for your comment, Steven. Btw, this is a brand New laptop, and I was doing nothing but having this turned on while browsing a website. The AC was plugged in as well. Then, all of a sudden (I'm assuming when it was restarting to do updates) this error message has come up. Also, when I turn the power off and then back on the error is showing again. Thank you again and is there a workaround that I can use without having to open up the back? I don't see a pinhole.0
