Brand New Nitro 5 Laptop Won't Charge

Hi there, I just opened up my new Nitro 5 laptop and it isn't charging whatsoever. It's new, it isn't refurbished or anything like that. It's plugged into a fully functional outlet (I have two other devices plugged into the same outlet, including the computer I'm using to ask this question), and unplugging/plugging it back in doesn't help. Do I have any options I can try, or do I have to swap it out for another one?

Thank you!

Try to push the charger plug ring into its back port plug completely until you hear a clicking sound, as you probably haven't pushed the charger plug right into its port plug properly. Btw this happened to me with my Nitro 5 and it had me baffled  :D otherwise and if that dosent fire your Nitro 5 up then get into contact with Acer Support in your area for advice of how to get your laptop sent to Acer to be diagnoised and fixed, don't open and/or do anything with your laptop as it will void your warranty.

It's so funny because when I pushed it in I heard a clicking sound, but when I pushed it even further just now (I thought it was going to break) it clicked again  :D okay, I guess I'll eat the embarrassment on this one, thanks a bunch my guy :)

:D yes that happened to me also exactly the same, and it took me a while to figure it out (as I didn't read the manual) as my Nitro was brand new out of the box but, Acer does state exactly how to plug the charger into the laptop port. Great and hope I've helped you out, cheers.

Yes, you have to hear two clicks and not just one click. This is weird for me too.
