Acer AN515-54 Nitro 5 - no display, reboot loop every 25 seconds

Acer AN515-54-599H Already did the usual things:

- reseat all ribbon cables

- reseat battery

- reseat RAM; tried brand new DDR4-2400 just in case

- reseat SSD

- pulled CMOS battery, held power button for 30 sec

- display ribbon cable looks fine to me, no fraying

- orange light shows charge is working

- blue light shows laptop is on

- keyboard lights up, fans spin fine

- tried booting with no battery, no ssd, no RAM, and all combinations of these

- no display over HDMI on external monitor

- I cannot find any other way to reset CMOS/BIOS

I found tons of threads online for the same symptoms for this series of laptops. Screen does not have anything showing at all, so it doesn't appear to be a backlight issue.

Is this thing dead?

Kindly try to do BIOS defaults by following the below instructions.

1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
2. Press the power button to power on the system. ...
3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit
