Synaptics touchpads? Nitro 5

This is a strange question, but I am out of options. 

I'm physically disabled, and only have use of one thumb. Synaptics drivers seem to be the only ones that have the features I need(coasting, customizable tap zones/size, etc. but it seems they've been all but phased out in gaming laptops. 

Anyway, I periodically check random manufacturer driver pages to see what they use, and to my shock... the Nitro 5 (3070TI) has both Elan and Synaptics drivers on the page. So, my question is this: 

Does anyone know what the most powerful Acer notebook that definitely uses Synaptics is? 

The last computer I found that I can use has a 980GTX in it and may die any day. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I will lose my only independence if my computer dies before I find a replacement. 

You will be changing my life if you can offer concrete information.

    Hi! I don't know the level of your physical disability. However, have you already checked the possibility of using an external touchpad? I think there are some models that allow you to configure the touchpad:

    My level is basically... none.:p I only have about an inch of movement in my right thumb. 

    I've tried a few external touchpads(including that one, I believe) and they do have some rudimentary customization, but nothing like what the Synaptics drivers used to offer. 

    That said, I really appreciate the reply. Eventually, I feel like if I talk to enough people enough times... someone will be able to help me figure out something.

    What is the computer model? Example AN515-55-58VH. When you access the bios, a function called touchpad appears?

    I was able to install the touchpad driver, with all the features you mention, on my an515-51 by changing the touchpad to basic in the bios. Then I downloaded a synaptics driver and ran the install. Zoom and the others worked for me even though the touchpad was set to basic in the bios. See this video too:
