    (1) Unplug charger.
    (2) Press and hold power button for about 10 seconds. No LEDs should be lit.
    (3) Plug charger back in.
    (4) Wait for battery charge LED to turn from steady orange (or blinking orange) to steady blue. This may take several hours
    (5) Only after battery charge LED turns steady blue, then try to turn it on again.

okay so my explanation is a bit confusing, basically when i try to turn it on it just doesn't, the only thing that happens is the battery led flashes blue 4 times and that's it, afterwards its just the same as before pressing the power button no noise no dimly lit display nothing.

Do NOT try to turn it on until after step number #4

Just as an addition and if the battery light flashes amber which is a sign of "Amber (flashing): Battery low" and then the laptop turns off it’s the battery that is not charging or the charger is faulty. Check those out first with a volt meter (if you are that technically competent?) as the charger should be outputting 135W at  19V (you can check this with a multimeter, if you have one?) the output specs that the charger should have are; the outside of the plug is the negative and the inside is the positive. The battery should have at least 11V charge if its lower than that then your battery is dead hence the symptoms that you are getting or the laptop has a charging/power internal problems.

Another option is to open the back cover and disconnect the battery and the cmos bios battery (make sure that you have a antistatic wrist band, as static can cause damage also) and leave the laptop like that for 5 min then reconnect both batteries and try to press the power key and see if the laptop powers on? If not then you have either a side DC in cable/plug (Acer part #: 50.GP8N2.003) port problem and/or an internal power/charging circuitry issue(s) that needs diagnosing by an experienced tech as its more complex than pressing and/or taking batteries out.

Btw, the OEM batteries that your laptop uses is either the Simplo AC14B7K - 3320 mAh or the LG AC14B8K - 3220 mAh, the charger has a input rating of 135W and an output voltage 135W at 19V. good luck and hope this helps you further out.
