Hello,
recently i got new laptop and wanted to try out some games. Everything is optimised but still, the performance is not good at all. Pubg 50 fps and CSGO 100 fps on bad resolution and lowest details. I did everything possible to fix it but still no results. Ive been digging in it past 3 days and it makes me crazy haha. I tried removing and installing drivers, making power plans highest performance but nope. Oh almost forgot that my nitrosense doesnt work, after reinstalling and putting some commands to cmd, according to some articles. If someone can help me i would really appreciate it, since im 2000km away and can not refund that piece of ...
Thank you

Well, it then it should still be under warranty. It  probably should not be set up in optane with raid mode because it's obviously not helping your single WesternDigital nvme drive. Was this the only internal drive listed in the original advertisement or sale?

    >>>Everything is optimised>>>

Sounds like everything isn't too optimszed to me. :)

    (1)  What processor management state settings do you have in the advanced section of your power plan  If set to 100%, try lowering them to 90% for starters.
    (2) Battery must 100% near charged and plugged in BEFORE starting heavy gaming loads for maximum play time. Battery actually drains even though plugged in during high loads to help charger meet power demand. When battery drops below about 50%, CPU?GPU throttling begins. Time to stop playing and allow the battery to charge back up to 100%.
    (3) Also, have you uninstalled, not just disabled, any 3rd party non-Microsoft virus scanner?
    (4) What browser are you trying to use? Chrome & Edge are notorious resource hogs.

Use FireFox and try it again. Make sure Chrome & Edge browsers are not running in the background.

@buldo1_ if you don't have much important data, try to do clean reinstall of Windows. This often solves many issues such as Nitrosense not opening or performance issues.

I actually reinstalled twice, once from win 11 to win 10, then nitrosense stopped working so i reinstalled fully to win 11.

@buldo1_ did you install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 both x86 and x64 from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Did you re-install the Acer factory OEM version from the hidden Acer factory reset partition using the ALT+F10 cold boot method? Or the generic Microsoft versions. They are different.

Was it poor when you first acquired the machine out of the box? Because the ALT+F10 cold boot method returns the system to a factory fresh state like when you first turned on the laptop after you bought it.

It was my sisters laptop that i borrowed to fullfill my spare time after work abroad. I have no idea and she doesnt play games. I will give  alt f10 a try and we will see how it goes. Will check that out on youtube so i will not make things worse

Shut the machine off. Turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. If the hidden factory reset partition is still intact, a menu should appear that will allow you to reset Acer OEM Windows to a factory fresh state either while trying to save personal information  or a  complete clean Acer OEM factory install.

When did you do this? Why do you want to do it again? Did you do something else between the first time you did it and now?
