Hi,what is the compatible SSD for my acer nitro 5 AN515-55-75MZ

I'm wondering what are some compatible SSD's for my system.
Right now I have "Western Digital NVMe WDC PC SN530 SDB" In slot one.
I don't want a SATA. I want to put in a M.2 on slot 2.
I recently bought a Samsung EVO 970 Plus. But apparently it wasn't compatible with my system because I always had BSOD when the laptop woke up. So I returned it.

I'd appreciate suggestions or just a point in the right direction. Do I need PCI-E gen 3? What form factor? I just don't want to buy another one just to return in because it's not compatible.

Hi,
You can use a Samsung 970 Evo Plus in your model, you can use any PCIe 3 M.2 NVMe SSD in your laptop, I have shown the links where other users have Samsung 970 Evo Plus in this model.

well I had problems with hibernation after installing the 970 evo plus. Everytime I started my pc after hibernating i would get BSOD and it would restart.

That may be an unrelated problem to M.2 SSD in my opinion.

im 100% certain it was the SSD because when i took it out the BSOD stopped. And i could hibernate and sleep just fine

Does the same issue occur when you disable fast startup in power options?

The fast startup (when off ) only fixed when i put the laptop to shut down when i close the lid. It only fixed that, but the BSOD was still there when I made the lid: sleep/hibernate
