Hi guys.
A friend brought a computer Aspire XC-1660 with startup problem.
I tried to flash all the firmware from the site, but none of them started.
Can someone provide a full working bios dump.

Motherboard: B56H5-AD.

Can you enter the existing BIOS menu by pressing DEL key on startup?

Unzip your file then go to Appendix and click on UCP Bios Update SOP for Windows and follow the instructions

With the machine off. Press and hold the DEL key. While still holding the DEL key, turn the machine on.

Can you please no stupid advice.
I know how to enter BIOS. I tried all methods, If you can't give me a working bios dump, then it's better not to write.

Firmware from the official site is not suitable, I need a working dump of this machine.

Sorry, they're the only ones currently available on these forums from which to extract what you want.

I'm sorry if you think "stupid advice" as we're trying to help with little information like
    Does Windows boot OK
You have downloaded the latest bios, un-zipped and followed the Appendix instructions.
Which bios file are you attempting to install ?
Have you went into bios and done a F9 then F10. This is probably STUPID information for you but others may benefit.

If you're trying to replace the Bios without Windows or aa programming bios device ? Please let us in on the secret ?
Have a good day, Nanobie. :)

You may try these people. Message your Model # to them.

He really needs to follow the install instructions from the Appendix folder in the latest BIOS package. If the system is hosed to the point where you can't enter POST then the correct procedure is to send it to a repair depot.
