Acer Predator Triton 300 SE - Plugged in but not charging

I barely use this laptop, only for business trips in my 1year I have with it and I just noticed that it is not charging. The battery only has 14 full cycles on it. I've already tried reinstalling the battery drivers and the soft battery reset by holding the power button for 30 secs. None of it works.

My last option would be trying a different charger, but the real joke about all of this is that when I called Acer today to see how much to repair it with them it is 990 dollars + shipping, a laptop that costs US$1,500. Imagine my reaction.

Apart from trying a different charger, what other solution comes to mind?

Yes, it detects the charger, it makes the sound and turns on the LED light of plugged in. Also Windows detects the charger as "Plugged in" in the right lower corner of the screen.
