I have an Acer aspire a515 51g 5621
I intend to upgrade my ram and add and additional m.2 SSD.
Is this provision available for me.
What is the frequency and maximum size of ram I can use.
What type of of SSD should I use sata, PCI.
What is the maximum size I can go for.
Also can I replace my Mechanical HDD.
With ssd if so what is the specifications for the SSD.

Hi,
You can upgrade the memory up to 20GB(4GB onboard+16GB) with a DDR4 2400MHz module, you can also install a M.2 NVMe SSD in the M.2 slot up to 1TB, migrate the contents of HDD to it and use as the boot drive, you can use the HDD for storage after you have cloned it to the new M.2 NVMe SSD, I don't think you need to have an SSD for storage, but that's my opinion, if you want to replace the HDD with a SSD, get any 2.5" SSD.
