I have tried to reload the firmware via my sd card (formatted fat32) but as soon as i choose update via sd card my Acer goes blank i have left it for about a hour but still it stays on he blank screen. Not even my pc want to connect to it... Can someone tell me why is it doing this?

Like booting, firmware is typically readable only from a USB port, not an SD card slot.

Except on Android tablets, where the SD card is the normal device used for OS updates that aren't don't online. What size card is it? Perhaps it's too big...
