Hello guys,
I bought Acer Nitro AN515-45-R4U8 two days ago. It has 2 USB Ports on the left and one on the right. All USB Ports are working with USB 3.0 HDD and USB 2.0/3.0 stick. But I can't connect my office mouse and keyboard (with cables) to one of the USB ports on the left. But I can connect my mouse and keyboard with other 2 ports.
Only one of the port on the left is not working with cable mouse. But that port is working with HDD, USB Stick and that port is even working with USB 2.0 HUB.
It's so weird.
I plugged USB 2.0 HUB to that port and my mouse is working surprisingly.

But if I connect directly to that port, my mouse and keyboard don't work.

Please if anyone has the issue like mine, kindly suggest and comment.

Thanks

The laptop USB ports seem fine. The problem is with your old USB keyboard & mouse which are not USB3.2 certified. Thus If it was mine, I would NOT return the laptop as it seems to be working OK. If it bothered me that much, I would buy a new USB3.2 certified keyboard and mouse, definitely not return the laptop.

All your USB ports are version 3.2 gen1 or gen2 superspeed.  While all should be backward compatible with older USB2/3 devices, the Gen1's  on the left can be fussier and more unpredictable than the Gen2 on the right. So I guess the weirdness you seem to be describing is the sorta weirdness to be expected.  :)

How do you think bro, does it normal or should I return the laptop to the manufacturer? It's a bit difficult to send back to manufacturer from my place. That's why I came here to ask.

    Any suggestions please
