The laptop worked fine before today, only some minor issues with the fans. When i press the power button nothing happens, no noise from the fans, nothing. Only one blue light on the right lights up for around 5-6 seconds. I have tried the battery reset using the pinhole in the back, nothing. Some people on this forum also said to hold the power button for a bit longer or press it multiple times, nothing. I can't even open BIOS, nothing works. Please help ASAP.

Does it behave the same way plugged in but with the battery disconnected from the mainboard? Bottom cover must still be fully secured with screws..

With the laptop shut off and the power LED also off, plug the charger in. The battery charge LED should be steady orange. Do not try to turn the laptop on until the battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue. If the battery is still good, this might take up to 24hrs. After the battery charge LED turns steady blue, only then try to turn the laptop on.

How long did it take for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue?

How do you know they were minor issues? Did you somehow address these issues?

Yeah, they were pretty loud and pretty sure just needed cleaning, because the issue went away after i cleaned the fans from dust

So does this mean the laptop no longer worked fine after cleaning the fans?

Does it behave the same way plugged in but with the battery disconnected from the mainboard? Bottom cover must still be fully secured with screws..
