Would a USB BLUETOOTH 5.0 DONGLE WORK TO UPGRADE BLUETOOTH ON THE ACER ASPIRE TC 866?

You might have a v5 BT combo m.2 card already in there now. But if not, sure, the dongle should work fine. Another option would be to simply replace the internal card with part no KE.11A0N.012 combo card. Probably cost about the same.

Any USB BT 5.0 dongle should work fine, though it's cleaner to just replace your existing WiFi/Bluetooth card with a more modern version. I run an AX201 in my system and it's BT 5.0.

Google search the part no. KE.11A0N.012 for vendors who ship to your location.
