No, it won't void your warranty. If you do an ALT+F10 cold boot reset, you should have an option of returning the system to a factory fresh Win10 state while saving your personal files and all ACER bundled software.

My advice to you is to NOT downgrade Win-11 OS to Win-10! As it works 100% with the new Nitro 5's, I've got a new Nitro 5 and Win-11 works perfectly on it! First don't just do an upgrade from Win-10 to 11, do a "Clean Install" within windows go to "Advanced Startup" > and get to the "Choose an Option" (see screen below) and then insert the Win-11 installation USB and do a "Clean Install" of Win-11 as that is the best way to install Win-11.

Note: just in case and after formatting the boot drive completely through the Win-11 clean install, on another USB (to make sure) have the Acer "IRST Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Version: 18.6.1.1016.2) Driver" copied and ready for install of this software, just incase Win-11 clean install and after you have completely formatted the boot drive, needs this Intel boot drive software to make the boot drive be recognized for the installation, otherwise you can't go on with the clean install. As after installing this software from the 2nd USB, the clean install of Win-11 should be able to proceed with the installation.

After let Win-11 install and update all the drivers and even install the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers for your gpu on the nitro 5 and all their auxiliary software etc also use the Acer Win-11 drivers to make sure that you have all the obsolete drivers that were not installed (see Device manager for that after install) also install the "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" so that it installs the latest Win-11 Intel drivers but and with this Intel software, the Nitro 5’s Bluetooth like my Nitro 5 that has the "Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i 160Hz Wi-Fi/BT card" the new Intel Bluetooth drivers for this combo Wi-Fi/BT don't work, and I mean “Any Intel updated new drivers for Win-11 Bluetooth” don’t work and you should only use the OEM Acer Bluetooth driver version 22.40.0.2 (or the one supplied for your Nitro model laptop) as the Acer driver work 100% and perfectly. Take it from me, as I've done allot of trial and error reinstalls of Win-11 and the above method works 100% and there is and there are NO problems with any AN515-xx Nitro 5 using running Win-11 at all, as I'm using it and once I've done all the above this laptop works flawlessly and perfectly with Win-11! This is just my advice so take as you may? Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    1. install macrium free or any other software, take a system image (just in case you want to go back to 11).
    2. i would recommend a clean install of 10, not downgrade to keep it clean.
    3. all acer software can be downloaded from acer site - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7997?b=1

@StevenGen Windows 11 is okay and stable, but it killed backward compatibility for many software. This is the prime reason I have 10 on all my systems (11 in VM until i can get all software i use working on it).
