my laptop model is an515-55-53e5 and it comes with a SK Hynix 8GB 3200MHz, i try to added a Crucial 8GB 3200Mhz but after that i checked task manager and my speed dropped from 2933MHz to 2400MHz.
is that normal? and how do I fix it?

Match the exact specs of your oem Hynix DDR4-3200MHz specs that came with your AN515-55, as that is why this is happening, as when you added the Crucial ram even though its a DDR4-3200MHz its not the same timing and is running at 2933MHz to 2400MHz speeds. The new ram is a different ram that is why your laptop is running at the lowest ram speeds.

Install and look at CPUz info at "Memory and SPD" for your oem ram specs (its preferable to match the same manufacturer and specs) but not matching the manufacturer exactly is ok but you have to match the same exact specs of timing and speed for the ram to run at DDR4-3200Mhz and in dual mode, as dual mode is superior to single mode for all appreciations especially gaming.
