Sometimes when i open a game, my laptop is at 50 degrees and the fan is very quiet but other times when i open the SAME game it would be at 80 degrees with a very loud fan... i cannot figure out why this happens, and it seems its decided on startup because i had my laptop on for 3 days straight and it never went above 60 degrees with a quiet fan but i turned off my laptop for 3 hours, turned it back on and this time it was at 80 degrees with loud fan, and i repeat with the SAME GAMES
Please help!

Please post a screenshot of Task Manager Startup tab if possible.

Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable' near the  top of the  next pane. Scroll down and UNcheck the box for fast startup. Shut down Windows normally. Wait a minute or two. Then turn machine on again. The fan should now briefly spin fast on start up. Then after a few seconds, fan should spin down. Now it's ready to test gaming behavior again.

Is it normal that this sometimes happens? the numbers dont seem to add up to 100% but this happens every now and then not sure if its related or not

Search Windows start menu 'power plan'. Click edit power plan near top of menu. Click advance power settings. Click processor power states. Set maximum processor states to 90% on battery and plugged in.

Yes click on the power management plan folder. It might list processor states in a subfolder.

    OK. Try this.
    (1) Search 'cmd' in Windows start menu.
    (2) Right click command prompt near top of menu.
    (3) Click run as administrator.
    (4) Copy, paste & enter this command

    REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\bc5038f7-23e0-4960-96da-33abaf5935ec /v Attributes /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f

    (5) Then expand the processor power mgt folder again
