Hello,
I'd like to know if it is possible to achieve 4K@60Hz via USB 3.1 connection. When I'm connecting via USB 3.1 cable (included) to MacBook Pro 15" 2017 the highest possible resolution is 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz. Is it problem with the cable or this is the highest resolution I can achieve using USB-C -> USB-C (3.1) connection? If so do you know any worth solutions (Display Port is already in use)? Can cables USB-C -> HDMI 2.1 achive desired 4K@60Hz resolution and if they are worth it?

I'm not sure the 2017 Macbook Pro supports the higher resolution through the USB-C to HDMI interface, you need to be going DP for full resolution.

    Hi @padar

When it comes to high refresh rates you need to check with a display port cable. But if you try with a USB-C to HDMI cable there is less chance of working.

Hope it will help you in some way.
