Hello,
My Acer Aspire A515-43-R19L has recently started showing battery issues. Even with the charger plugged in, it still would not charge the laptop. The old battery is currently out of charge and I decided to replace both the battery and the charger because I couldn’t determine which one was causing the issue. With the new battery installed, I turned on the laptop and the battery displayed 62% charge, but the power and battery LED lights are still blinking when the laptop is turned on with the charger plugged in and not charging.
When the laptop is powered off with the charger still plugged in, neither the power or battery lights are on. Also, the laptop will occasionally blink at a very slow rate, and then it blinks faster and back to the slow rate again.
I have tried:
• Using a safety pin on the reset hole on the backside for 30 seconds
• Checking for updates and if battery drivers were up-to-date
• Using a different charger and wall socket
Results have ended the same and I don’t know what’s causing the issue. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
