This is not my laptop but a friends, the laptop in question is overheating so it means it needs new thermal paste, but my question is where is the microphone cable ?  the microphone stopped working after checking, the device "microphone array" is no longer showing as connected, or plugged in. It seems the cable is not connected correctly, is there a guide or manual where is the microphone cable internally ? I will change the thermal paste and will try to fix the microphone cable but I dont know where to do this.  Or has someone had this issue before where the microphone array in device manager shows as unplugged?

PH315-52-78VL is the model, I was finally able to make it go below 90C by changing from the acer power plan to balanced, which made the CPU stop boosting to 5GHZ all the time and stay between 4 and 1ghz or less, now at 78C. Still the microphone array show as unplugged, tehre is a microphone but is not a realtek one and just says "microsoft microphon" , the realtek one shows as unplugged on device manager.
