My Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 gets boot loop problem when external hard disk is connected!

Since morning, I was trying to fix the boot loop problem with my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 and I tried everything but the only way it worked was when I disconnected my external harddisk of 1 TB. I tried reconnecting it to see if it will still work but the boot loop problem seems to be associated with the hard disk. I have almost all of my important documents in my external hard disk, so I am really scared if the hard disk has been damaged. Could you guys please tell me what the problem might be and how I could fix it?

I also worry if the hard disk slowly got damaged because I have spilled water on the laptop quiet a few times.

@andomanchey what happens if you try to boot without the external drive plugged in?

Try changing the boot order in the bios. About the water, did you spill the liquid on the keyboard?

I will try doing that. Yes, I did spill it on the keyboard, plenty as well. It might also have reached the hard disk through the back.

In this case, I advise disassembling the laptop and analyzing the motherboard.
