Laptop won’t turn on and is very hot to touch.

This has happened before and i’m not sure what resolved it or what i should do. the light turns on when i plug in the charger but no response from the screen at all.

    Press and hold power button for 5-10 seconds. Remove charger. Gently insert and press paperclip into battery disconnect pinhole on bottom of laptop for about a minute. Plug charger back in but wait for battery charge LED to turn from solid orange to solid blue. Then try to turn it on again.

    As you mentioned your laptop froze, overheated and turned off by itself and now you are unable to power on your laptop. It could be an issue with the DC port or the system board on your laptop could have gone faulty. Try plugging the adapter into a different wall outlet and check if it help
