My VG220Q joystick is glitching out

My monitor is having a issue where if I want to change the volume or input, the joystick won't recognise a press but rather a push downwards, and it's jumping to other menus.
The other 3 buttons, not including the power button, also wouldn't respond when pressed, and I don't know what to do.

For context, I only had this monitor nearly a year now, got it in June, and cos I'm a uni student I haven't had much time to use the monitor as it's only got my PS4 and Switch hooked up to it?
What options do I have here, because I don't trust myself to fix it on my own and void whatever warranty I might have 😅

EDIT for extra info: it still plays sounds fine, but I can't change the volume or input because of this issue

It sounds like some of the internal cable connectors need to be re-seated to help clean their contacts. Since it should still be covered by warranty, go to this link. Choose your country or region. Click support button at top of country page. Enter the monitor's serial number id (SNID) and arrange for warranty repair service BEFORE the warranty expires next month.
