I have no idea what's happening. I haven't messed with it at all and it only started today. No blue screen or error just off. When I turn it on the fans run full blast

Seems like overheating. Fans normally run full blast for a few moments when first booted. No problem with the fans..

    (1) What CPU/GPU temps are you seeing while playing games?
    (2) What ACER model number do your have? For example, PH315-44?
    (3) Do you have your laptop setting on a hard surface and not blocking the air vents on the bottom?

    Hi @ Sheepotato

Most of the time when a computer SHUTS DOWN unexpectedly when playing games, it's the PSU. We normally will ignore the power supply unit, but it's an important component that provides stable, continuous current for all computer equipment such as CPUs, memory and hard drives.
