Hello,

I have the above chromebook that is less than a year old and still under warranty.
All of the sudden battery is stuck at 1%.
If I unplug it the from the charger it will shutdown.
Battery health is 99%, cycle count 43.
I am using the OEM 45W charger.
Unit is up to date as of today and have tried a hard reset, no luck.

Any ideas?

    Hi @tmarsden

Power off the laptop and then try to press and hold down the power button and the refresh button for 30 secs. Then try to connect it back to the charger and then check with it.

    Hopefully it should charge.

Thank you for the reply @ragsak28 but that did not have any effect.

If you are out of warranty, try the same suggestion, but with the battery cable disconnected form the motherboard. If in warranty contact Acer support to get a ticket started. They don't put battery reset buttons on the Chromebooks because Google seems to be better at keeping the data sane. But better doesn't mean perfect.

Well it took me forever to actually send the laptop in but once Acer received it the battery was replaced and it was shipped back very quickly. So far it seems to be working just fine. Great job Acer and thanks @ragsak28 and @billsey for you help with this!
